Radio used to be a great way to enter the world of SHOW BIZ. Radio helped me moving into a writer’s world. Record promotion people knew lots of entertainers and often opened doors so you could get hired by a show or an entertainer. I met my first agent, Frank Fox that way. In the 40’s, Frank was one of Bob Hope’s network radio writers.

In 1952, he wrote and produced the pilot for T.V.’s smash, “MY LITTLE MARGIE“ starring Gail Storm.
On my various trips to the Coast, Frank showed me how to get meetings with entertainers who bought my comedy for their act.
